Todd Ormiston was appointed Head of School in 2015. A collegiate ski racer and soccer player at St. Lawrence University, his professional and personal background have always centered on the synergy created between athletics, academics and personal growth. Todd’s focus at Mount Snow Academy has been to develop a world class academic and athletic experience in an environment that fosters independence, goal setting and character development.
Prior to MSA, Todd held leadership positions at Stratton Mountain School (VT), Gould Academy (ME) and Community School (ID). As an independent school veteran, each of his school experiences has allowed him to influence many areas of independent school leadership; from Admissions Director to College Counselor to outdoor hockey rink engineer.
