I grew up in the suburbs of Albany, NY and spent much of my free time finding ways to get outside.  We spent time hiking, biking, skiing, and canoeing all over the Eastern US.  I have kept that love for the outdoors in my adult life and still spend much of my time outside.  I have lived in Southern Vermont since 1987.
My work has taken me around Vermont and Massachusetts both operating and providing training and technical assistance for small public water and wastewater treatment systems.  I enjoy engaging my students in their subject and love to see them get that “Aha” moment when a subject finally clicks with them.  The more people know about the environment we live in the better they will understand it and learn to live within it.
