Amy Gallese

Amy is excited to teach History/Social Studies at MSA, while also helping with residential life.  She’s taught a wide range of History/Social Studies classes at different schools, including two ski academies, and has also served as an adjunct instructor at Green Mountain College.  Amy studied History and Political Science at Kenyon College, and later completed a Master’s degree at Plymouth State University. A competitive high-school athlete, she helped edit the weekly newspaper while competing with the Model United Nations team while in college.

An outdoors enthusiast, Amy facilitates team building and leadership programs on challenge courses in southern New England for diverse groups of students.  She has also directed outdoors programs, led multi-day camping trips, and volunteered with a wilderness search-and-rescue team.
