Alumni Ian Wolff of UConn Ski Team head to Nationals

Post from  UConn Facebook Ian Wolfe Mount Snow Academy Alumni UConn Ski Team

Well that’s a wrap! After a long Sunday of traveling, the Men’s Team is finally back in Storrs. It was a week of great fun, sunny skies, and outstanding results.

After a 9th place finish in the GS, and 5th place in the Slalom, the team finished 6th overall as the highest ranking club team in the country! That’s right, NUMBER 1 IN THE COUNTRY!

But results aside, on behalf of the entire UCONN Ski Team, we would like to send out a huge thank you to all those that supported us financially as well as emotionally on our journey to Mount Bachelor, as the trip would not have been possible without your support. THANK YOU!

Last but certainly not least, thIan Wolfe and Uconn Teame entire UCONN Ski Team family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Larry Gianatti, as we say goodbye to him as our coach. Larry is responsible for transforming the UCONN Ski Team into what it has become today, the best club team in the country. A simple thank you just doesn’t do a justice. We wish you the best of luck in Telluride, and in all your future endeavors, and hope you enjoy “L.I.P” (living in paradise). Thank you, Larry.
